MARCH 3rd, 2022

Evening Gallery Show & Reception Party at 7-10pm ($35*/21+)
at 11 Central St., Salem, MA
Join us this March 3rd, as we celebrate Hinamatsuri, or "Girl's Day".

This traditional Japanese holiday is known for its elaborate displays of exquisite dolls. Intricate, costumed dolls, along with their marvelous accessories, only hold court for a few weeks, before being lovingly put back away, or in old times, being sent off forever on boats.
On March 3rd, young girls honor the dolls by sharing tea, cakes, sweets, and worries, which the dolls will take away with them, for the remainder of the year.

Excited to share in this cultural tradition this Thursday, March 3rd, Diehl Marcus & Company invite you to share teas, sweets, traditional Japanese music, and your worries with our very own, exquisite court of vintage Hina dolls, on display for the first time since 1954.
Wish your troubles away, and celebrate the magical festival of Girls, and their fascinating doll friends with us on this wonderful occasion at our Gallery & Event Space within our historic location (First Bank of Salem built in 1811 by Charles Bulfinch).
